During June 2017 IISRI had begun work on a contract for the Australian Navy to deliver a Haptically-Enabled Augmented Reality Hot Fire system, which would allow the Australian Navy to effectively train new and existing staff the basics of Ship-board firefighting. The Institute for Intelligent Systems Research and Innovation was awarded the 2.16 million contract by Federal Government’s Defence Innovation Hub.
I was tasked the lead Unity Programmer during the development of the Hot-Fire systems, this role involved leading a small team of 5 members throughout the development.
